The Opportunity
We’re looking for a high-performing Senior Marketing Manager to help lead a fast-paced, performance-driven marketing organization responsible for generating significant growth across our business. This is not a traditional campaign-management role. You’ll have meaningful ownership of marketing strategy, multimillion-dollar investment, lead generation, campaign performance, vendors, technology, and team development. You’ll work closely with the VP of Marketing and senior leadership to turn business objectives into marketing strategies - and then own the execution and results.
We’re looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with a willingness to get into the details. You should be equally comfortable analyzing performance and reallocating spend, building a campaign strategy, negotiating with a vendor, coaching a team member, or presenting a recommendation to senior leadership.
If you want significant ownership, measurable accountability, and the opportunity to help build a best-in-class marketing organization, this role is for you.
What You’ll Own
Marketing Strategy & Performance
- Translate growth objectives into marketing strategies, campaigns, investment plans, and measurable performance targets.
- Own performance across key marketing channels with accountability for lead generation, cost efficiency, conversion, revenue contribution, and ROI.
- Analyze results, identify opportunities and proactively recommend changes to improve performance.
- Develop testing strategies that continuously improve campaigns, channels, offers, audiences, and creative.
- Partner with senior leadership on annual planning, forecasting, growth initiatives, and broader marketing strategy.
Campaign & Channel Leadership
- Lead integrated campaigns across email, direct mail, digital, social, radio, web, and other lead-generation channels.
- Own campaign strategy from concept through execution, measurement, and optimization.
- Develop offers, audiences, creative strategies, and testing plans designed to generate measurable growth.
- Oversee marketing automation, email programs, website initiatives, integrations, and emerging marketing technology.
- Ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, on time, and at a high standard.
Budget & Investment Management
- Manage significant portions of our multimillion-dollar marketing investment, including forecasting, pacing, and allocation.
- Evaluate performance across channels and recommend where we should increase, reduce, or redirect investment.
- Maintain strong financial discipline around budgets, expenses, vendors, and forecasts.
- Provide senior leadership with clear visibility into performance, risks, opportunities, and expected results.
Team & Organizational Leadership
- Manage, coach, and develop members of the marketing team while creating clear accountability for results.
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to the VP of Marketing and other company leaders.
- Build scalable processes, reporting, systems, and operating rhythms that improve marketing execution.
- Partner closely with Sales, our internal call center, Finance, Operations, agencies, and other stakeholders throughout the customer funnel.
- Manage key agency and vendor relationships, including performance, contracts, deliverables, and negotiations.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of progressive marketing experience with significant ownership of campaigns, budgets, or business results.
- Experience in performance marketing and lead generation, ideally within a high-volume B2C environment.
- Hands on experience with LSAs and Google Business Profile.
- Demonstrated experience managing substantial marketing budgets and making investment decisions based on data and ROI.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, email, direct mail, social media, marketing automation, campaign analytics, and testing.
- Experience managing agencies, vendors, contracts, and external partnerships.
- Experience leading and developing people.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen—you can move comfortably between marketing metrics and business outcomes.
- Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to influence senior leaders, challenge assumptions, and make clear recommendations.
- A bias toward action, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Experience in home services, multi-location businesses, consumer services, automotive, financial services, healthcare, or another high-volume lead-generation environment is a plus.
How You’ll Win
Within this role, success means:
- Growing qualified lead volume and revenue contribution while improving marketing efficiency.
- Keeping marketing investment appropriately paced, forecasted, and allocated toward the highest-performing opportunities.
- Building a disciplined test-and-learn culture that continuously improves results.
- Delivering major initiatives without requiring significant senior-leadership intervention.
- Developing a high-performing marketing team with increasing ownership and accountability.
- Holding agencies and vendors accountable for measurable results.
- Bringing leadership solutions and recommendations - not simply reporting problems.
- Helping build the people, processes, technology, and strategy required to scale our marketing organization.
Why This Role
You’ll join an organization where marketing is central to the growth of the business and where your work will have a direct, measurable impact. You’ll have access to significant resources, meaningful investment, senior leadership, and the autonomy to influence how we grow. We move quickly, expect a lot from our leaders, and give strong performers the opportunity to take on substantially more responsibility.
For the right person, this is more than a Senior Marketing Manager position. It’s an opportunity to become a key marketing leader within a growing organization and help shape what comes next.
